Israel and Jordan decide to build a 'joint industrial park' on the border

According to the international news organization, the details of the meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid and King Abdullah II of Jordan in Amman last week have been revealed.

In this meeting, the two leaders agreed to implement the joint industrial park proposal presented at the time of the 1994 peace accord.

The construction of the terminal of the industrial park "Jordan Gateway Park" to be built on the border is entrusted to the Israel Airports Authority. This gateway will be a crossing area for Israeli and Jordanian businessmen interested in the industrial park, from where they will be able to walk into the industrial park unhindered.

The industrial park will house companies from both countries and create new employment opportunities while hosting executives and visitors for business purposes.

In this regard, the Israeli Prime Minister Yairlpid told the media that the decision to "build the Jordan Gateway Park" on the border has been made to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, which will increase employment and stabilize trade and diplomatic relations. shall be.
