Major progress in Pakistan Afghanistan Transit Rail Link Project

 LAHORE: Significant progress has been made in the Pak-Afghan Transit Rail Link project.

The 754 km long railway track will run from Peshawar Jalalabad to Kabul, Mazar-i-Sharif and Tirmaz. A joint survey was completed to Peshawar, Kabul, Tirmidh Uzbekistan for the 5 billion dollar project.

A 3-member team of Pakistan Railways participated in the joint survey, including Chief Engineer Qamar Zaman, the team leader, Deputy Chief Farman Ghani and Mualim Afridi. CEO Farrukh Taimur Ghalzai says that the completion of the joint survey is an important milestone for Pakistan Railways. There is mail.
