UAE authorities have released new petrol and diesel prices for August 2022. The rates were increasing for the last 5 months and have come down for the first time. There was a wave of happiness among the consumer circles after the reduction in rates.

The price of petrol 95 per liter was 4.52 dirhams in July and was reduced to 3.92 dirhams in August.
The price of the E Plus 91 is set at AED 3.84 for August.
The price of a liter of diesel was 4.76 dirhams in July and was reduced to 4.14 dirhams for August.
It should be remembered that the Emirati authorities set the prices of petrol and diesel every month keeping in mind the prices of the international market. These rates are inclusive of 5% Value Added Tax.
Petrol and diesel distributor companies in the UAE have released the new rates for August on their website.
