Germany: A joint effort of several German scientific institutions has created a vest or vest that records the wearer's breathing and lung conditions. It has been named PneumoVest specially formulated for Covid-19 patients.
Ten institutes of the Fronifer Research Group in Germany have jointly developed a garment that notes breathing fluctuations like a stethoscope and can communicate this information to concerned doctors.
Its software collects all the data and sounds and creates an image of the lungs that pinpoints the affected areas. This image can be viewed in a mobile phone or delivered to a server. In this way, a shirt-like chest can be continuously used to determine the complete state of the lungs, whether it is at home or in an office.
Although experts believe that it cannot replace a chest specialist, it can determine where the breathing process is impaired.
