The Election Commission will pronounce the decision on the PTI prohibited funding case today

 ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan will pronounce the decision on Tehreek-e-Insaaf prohibited funding case at 10 am today.

According to Express News, the three-member bench of the Election Commission of Pakistan will pronounce the decision reserved for June 21 this morning. The Election Commission has also released the cause list.

Two days ago, regarding the prohibited funding case, the former secretary of the Election Commission of Pakistan, Kanwar Dilshad, said that foreign and prohibited funding are the same thing, foreign funding has been proven in the State Bank report, if the decision is against, the prohibited funding will be confiscated. Party symbol can also be withdrawn under section 215, party registration can also be canceled on prohibited funding.

Speaking on a private TV program, Kanwar Dilshad said that action can be taken against Imran Khan in the case of prohibited funding because he has written to the Election Commission as chairman that there is no prohibited funding in his party. If the funding is proved, Imran Khan can be prosecuted under Article 62 1F for false statement.


Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Ansaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan demanded that the decisions of the three parties in the foreign funding case be heard together.


While giving an interview to a private channel, he said that he had known Arif Naqvi for 20, 25 years, he was working for Pakistan and Shaukat Khanum, Arif Naqvi was a rising talent in the financial world.
