The ratio of foreign and joint investment in the industrial sector is 39 percent

 The Saudi Ministry of Industry and Minerals has released data regarding the volume of domestic and foreign and joint investments in the industry sector in the country.

According to the Economy, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals has said that the volume of foreign and joint investment in the industry sector is 39 percent of the total investment.

The Ministry of Industry has said that the number of foreign-invested factories in the Kingdom reached 839 by the end of May 2022. This is about 8% of the total factories in the kingdom. More than 65 billion Rials have been invested in them.

The number of joint venture factories is 787 which is 7% of the total factories, said the Ministry of Industries. More than 464 billion Rials have been invested in them.

According to the Ministry of Industries and Minerals, the number of national factories is 9 thousand. These are 85 percent of the total factories. 832 billion Rials are attached to them.

 The Ministry of Industry pointed out that foreign investors are investing in factories manufacturing various mineral products. 54% of capital is invested in small factories, 39% in medium size and 7% in large factories.

Currently, factories are the most in Riyadh region. Makkah region is second and Eastern region is third.
