A campaign of checking petrol stations has been started in several areas of Saudi Arabia. A representative executive committee of 11 institutions is doing the checking work.

The committee endeavors that petrol stations and service centers adhere to the rules and regulations set by the concerned institutions. The committee is authorized to take legal action for violation of regulations.
The committee is raiding petrol stations and service centers located within cities and commissariats, as well as petrol stations and service centers located on highways.
The committee has appealed that if any Saudi citizen or resident foreigner sees anything against the regulations at a petrol station or service center, he should inform the committee at the first opportunity.
