Sierra Leone forward footballer Mohamed Boya Toure was unable to attend his own wedding ceremony to report immediately to his new football club, instead sending his brother to represent him.
According to Arab News, Mohamed Boya was not present for the special day of his life as he was instead bound by a contract with a football club.
The Sierra Leone international signed a contract with Swedish football team Malmo on July 22, forcing him to miss out on his wedding day.

According to a Twitter message, the footballer said he was in Sierra Leone when the deal was struck. The wedding was necessary and I also had to go to Sweden, so I did the marriage ceremony a day before and also took pictures as I could not attend the wedding ceremony.
The footballer Toure further elaborated saying that the brother represented me in the wedding ceremony which was organized for family and friends.
He said that we are Muslims and we have traditional values which must be followed. In the Islamic manner, the ceremony of marriage was conducted earlier, the pictures of which were made and released on the day of the wedding.
The footballer posted three pictures of himself and his new wife saying that these pictures were taken before the wedding ceremony.
Boya Toure has said that now first our team has to win the football league and then I will try to invite my wife to Sweden.
