19 people have been killed in a suicide bombing in the educational center of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, on Friday morning.
According to the French news agency AFP, police spokesman Khaled Zadran said that a suicide bomb exploded in an educational center in Kabul on Friday morning, killing at least 19 people.
He said that the students were preparing for the exam when a suicide bomber attacked the educational center. Unfortunately, 19 people were martyred and 27 injured in the attack.
The explosion occurred near Dasht Barchi, a predominantly Shia area in western Kabul.Interior Ministry spokesperson Abdul Nafee Thakur wrote in a tweet that "an educational center called Kaj has been attacked in which unfortunately there have been deaths and people have been injured."
He said that security teams have reached the spot, the details of the nature of the attack and casualties will be released later. "Attack on civilian targets proves the enemy's inhuman cruelty and lack of morals."
In videos posted online and photos published by local media, the injured can be seen being carried away from the scene.
