After the Ukraine war, Russia earned 1.58 billion dollars from energy products, reports

Russia has earned $1.58 billion from exports of energy products in the last six months since the invasion of Ukraine.

According to the news agency AFP, the European think tank "Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air" has said in its report that since the beginning of the Ukraine war, approximately 43 billion euros have been transferred to the federal budget of Russia through the export of biofuels. Joined

According to the European think tank CREA, rising biofuel prices have boosted Russia's current income year-on-year even as Moscow's overall export volume fell.

Natural gas prices have skyrocketed since the Ukraine war, while Russia has cut gas supplies to pressure Europe.

CREA has estimated that the European Union has imported the most biofuels from Russia in the last six months at around 85 billion euros. While China imported 34.9 billion euros and Turkey 10.7 billion euros of biofuels from Russia.

The European Union has stopped buying coal from Russia while also phasing out oil imports, but there is no limit on purchases of natural gas, on which it is most dependent.

CREA says that the European Union's ban on Russian coal imports has been effective, but the think tank has demanded that more severe economic sanctions be imposed on Russia.

Coal exports have hit their lowest levels since the Ukraine war in the last six months due to sanctions on Russia.

According to the think tank, Russia has been unable to find other buyers after the drop in EU demand.

"The EU should also ban European ports and ships used to ship Russian oil to third countries."

The G7 countries have also decided to set a limit on the selling price of Russian crude oil. If this happens, the income earned by Russia from oil exports will decrease significantly.
