Mumbai: Ekta Kapoor, the most famous producer and director of Indian film and drama industry and her mother Shobha Kapoor have been issued an arrest warrant.
According to Indian media, Ekta and Shobha Kapoor have been issued arrest warrants for insulting soldiers and hurting the sentiments of their families in the said web series.
Shambhu Kumar, a citizen of Bihar, filed a petition against the producer in the court, on which action was taken.
Indian media say that Ekta Kapoor's mother is connected with her production company, due to which her arrest warrant has also been issued.
Remember that the first part of this Ekta Kapoor series was released in 2018 while the second was presented to the fans in 2020, after which a controversy arose across the country and Ekta was heavily criticized.
