Can a traffic challan be a hindrance to the renewal of Iqamah under the guarantor?

According to the law of the Saudi Passport and Immigration Department, sponsors of expatriates working in the Kingdom are responsible for keeping the workers' documents complete, including the workers' residence, their annual medical insurance, and the issuance of exit visas or final exit visas. The execution of other matters is included.

A person inquired from Jazaat, "After a month of coming to the kingdom for the first time, due to some personal reasons, the exodus had gone back." Can I come to the country again on another visa?

Answering the question, Juzaat said that "those foreigners who leave the country legally, i.e. through immigration, do not face any problem in coming again on another visa".

Individuals who go on final exit can re-enter the country on other visas at any time.

It should be noted that the persons who are deported, i.e. those who are expelled from the country through deportation, cannot come back to the country on any visa.

Deportees are also subject to final exit, but the difference is that they are registered as deported in the immigration system, after which they are permanently blacklisted and cannot enter the country on any other visa.

Regarding the renewal of Iqama, a person inquired about the justifications, 'Traffic challans are the responsibility of the sponsor, it means that Iqama cannot be renewed, it should be known that the traffic challan is the responsibility of the sponsor. What is our iqama related to this?

In response to the question, Juzaat said that "legally, it is necessary that the person whose Iqama is intended to be renewed should not be registered for any kind of violation."

If the traffic challan is due to the worker, the iqama can be renewed only after paying the allowance. Traffic challan is not related to sponsor's renewal of Iqama.

A person living on the residence of a family driver has asked that 'Iqama can be renewed for six months'?

In response to the question, Juzaat said that the residence of domestic workers is for at least one year. The law of renewal of iqama on quarterly basis does not apply to domestic workers.

It should be noted that from this year, three, six, nine and twelve months facility has been provided for the renewal of residence of foreign workers in Saudi Arabia. Workers' Iqamas can also be renewed on a quarterly basis instead of once.

This facility has been issued only for renewal of Iqama for commercial workers. It does not include 'Sayak Khas' or Amal Manzali.

The one-year iqama fee for domestic workers is only 500 riyals, while their iqama renewal is done directly through justification, while for the renewal of iqama for commercial workers, a work permit is first issued by the Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare. After which the Iqama is renewed.

For commercial workers, Iqama is renewed according to the period of work permit renewal.
