Five Palestinians hanged in Gaza, including 'spies for Israel'

 The ruling Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip of Palestine has sentenced to death five citizens, two of whom had 'collusted' with Israel.

According to the news agency AFP, Hamas said in a statement that "on Sunday morning, five people were sentenced to death, two of whom were found to be accomplices of the occupation (Israel), while three others were hanged in criminal cases." was given.'

The statement added that during the trial, the accused were given full opportunity to defend themselves and prove their innocence.

The Hamas Interior Ministry released the date of birth and other details of the five people, but did not reveal their full names.

The two persons who were convicted of the crime of 'instigator' from Israel were born in 1978 and 1968.

One of them was a resident of Khan Yunis area, which is south of the Gaza Strip. He was convicted of spying for Israel.

According to Hamas's statement, the criminal "in 1991 provided Israel with information on people associated with the resistance movement, their residential addresses and the locations of rocket launching pads."

According to the statement, the second person was convicted in 2001 of providing intelligence information to Israel. "As a result of this, Israeli attacks were carried out in which civilians were martyred."

Hamas' interior ministry said three other civilians were found guilty of murder, leading to executions.
