The ruling Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip of Palestine has sentenced to death five citizens, two of whom had 'collusted' with Israel.

The Hamas Interior Ministry released the date of birth and other details of the five people, but did not reveal their full names.
The two persons who were convicted of the crime of 'instigator' from Israel were born in 1978 and 1968.
One of them was a resident of Khan Yunis area, which is south of the Gaza Strip. He was convicted of spying for Israel.
According to Hamas's statement, the criminal "in 1991 provided Israel with information on people associated with the resistance movement, their residential addresses and the locations of rocket launching pads."
