It can be said that it will take another 300 years for the international community to establish full gender equality in the world.
A report prepared by UN Women, a subsidiary of the United Nations, states that it will take 286 years to catch up with the pace of efforts to achieve gender equality and overcome the obstacles that stand in the way, while jobs worldwide But women will have to wait at least 140 years for equal representation in terms of power and leadership. According to the report, achieving equal representation in national parliamentary institutions will also take at least another 40 years.

The report, prepared in collaboration with the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the World Organization, further states that new challenges facing the world such as the Corona virus and its subsequent emergencies, violent incidents and conflicts, extraordinary climate changes and Gender discrimination has increased due to neglect of health and other rights, including sexual crimes against women.

UN Women has revealed in the report that by the end of 2022, about 383 million women around the world will go into extreme poverty, who will be forced to live on financial resources equivalent to just US$1.90 per day. In comparison, the number of men suffering from similar conditions will be around 368 million.
