Referendum in Canada on the creation of a separate country "Khalistan" for Sikhs

 After referendums in Britain, Switzerland and Italy on the establishment of a separate country for Sikhs, Khalistan, Canada will vote on September 18.

A referendum will be held in Brampton, a suburb of Toronto, on September 18 under the auspices of Sikhs for Justice.

Sikhs living in Canada organized a 5-mile long car rally to attract local people's attention and raise awareness about the referendum. More than 2,000 vehicles participated in the car rally in Toronto on Sunday night.

A truck rally was also organized in connection with the referendum, while Khalistan referendum is being advertised on Megabill boards

The referendum on Khalistan started on October 31 last year from London, after which voting was also held in Switzerland and Italy.

More than four and a half lakh Sikhs living abroad have participated in the referendum so far.
