The Saudi Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare has launched the second phase of the new recruitment process for all private institutions and companies.
Under this, the new sponsor will not be liable to pay the unpaid 'consideration'. Without it, duplicating will happen.
According to Aqaz newspaper, the Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare said in a statement that the modified mechanism of transfer of sponsorship is for all private companies and institutions. It is not specific to any organization or company.

The ministry says that the second phase will fulfill the objectives of the labor market strategy. Thanks to this, the efficiency of the labor market will improve and the standard of workers' rights will be high.
According to the Ministry of Manpower, "According to the new procedure, the worker will be able to get duplicate sponsorship in spite of the unpaid compensation from the former employer." The payment of the previous financial compensation will not be the responsibility of the new employer. This has to be paid by the old employer, however, the new employer will be asked to pay the same from the date of transfer and it will be his responsibility.
The ministry says that implementation of the new procedure will facilitate all parties. This will not result in an increase in the amount of unpaid counterparty. The new employer will not be liable for unpaid compensation and will be able to legally obtain the services of the employee. Thanks to this method, the wage earner will also be freed from the financial conflict between the former employer and the new employer.
