The head of the World Health Organization has warned that Pakistan is at risk of a second disaster after the floods in the form of diseases and deaths from various epidemics.

According to the World News Agency, Director WHO, Dr. Tedros, has expressed concern over the flood disasters in Pakistan and has warned against the spread of various deadly epidemics.

In one of his statements, the head of global health said that after the flood in Pakistan, another sudden disaster may arise in the form of outbreak of epidemic diseases and the loss of life caused by them.

Head of World Health indicated to issue a 10 million dollar aid appeal for flood victims of Pakistan, saying that flood in Pakistan has destroyed more than 2000 health centers which has reduced the ability to deal with epidemics.

It should be noted that the flood water is still several feet high in many areas, which has caused the fear of widespread spread of dengue, malaria, typhoid and skin diseases.
