Emirati passport holders will be able to visit Japan without a visa from November 1

 The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Japan has said that "Emirati passport holders can come to Japan without obtaining a visa in advance from November 1, 2022, provided that the duration of the trip does not exceed 30 days."

According to Emirates Daily, the embassy said in a statement that "Emirati passport holders must carry the report of the PCR test conducted 72 hours before their arrival in Japan."

The embassy said that "if there is an approved Covid vaccine certificate in Japan, it will also be sufficient in such a case".

It should be noted that in September, Japan allowed UAE citizens to enter Japan without a visa, but the date was not announced.

  UAE nationals can travel to 176 countries without a visa or by obtaining an e-Visa online. As of last week, the number of such countries was up to 175. The total number of member states of the United Nations is 198.
