Father self-immolates in front of son's school in Egypt

 The incident of an Egyptian citizen who set himself on fire in front of his son's school in Egypt is being discussed on social media.

According to Al-Arabiya Net, the father of a child studying in a school in northern Egypt had requested to give course books, which was rejected by the school.

Egyptian media reported that the principal of the school not only refused to give the course, but also treated the child's father inappropriately.

The child's father allegedly set himself on fire by sprinkling oil in front of the school located in the town of Al-Bahira Commissionerate after refusing to give the books and the principal's misbehavior.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that the child is studying in the first class of primary school. The school staff immediately intervened and tried to put out the fire and the person was rushed to the hospital.

 The wife of the Egyptian citizen who committed self-immolation says that her husband tolerated the inappropriate behavior of the school principal while the son's file was also removed from the school's official records.

The Egyptian citizen's wife says that after this incident, the school administration came to the house and gave the course books. The child's school file has also been found and it has been registered.

 The Al-Bahira Education Department has removed the school principal responsible for the incident and directed him to appear before the investigation committee for refusing to give the course books to the child.
