UAE's Umm Jaluri Holding Group has inaugurated the Al-Damani factory, which manufactures electrical cars, in Dubai Industrial City. It is the first factory of its kind in UAE.
According to Emirates Illum, the vehicles will be assembled at the Al-Damani factory. Up to 10,000 vehicles will be manufactured annually. The area of the factory is 45 thousand square feet.

The Deputy Executive Chairman of Tecom Group, Saud Abu Al-Shwarab, said that the establishment of the factory is another great achievement in the world of transportation in terms of low-carbon energy.
He said that the opening of the Umm Jaluri factory is a sign that we are continuously raising the standards of the industry here and our constant effort is to promote various types of industries in the UAE.
Dr. Majda Al-Azazi, Chairperson of the Majlis Management of Umm Jalori Holding, said that the Al-Damani car factory is the first of its kind in the region.
Initially, this will be a temporary factory and soon its capacity will be increased. Within two years, the annual production capacity will reach 55 thousand vehicles. The factory will be set up on an area of 1 million square feet.
