India's foreign exchange reserves fell to a two-year low.

According to foreign news agency Reuters, India's foreign exchange reserves fell to $532.66 billion in the week ended September 30, their lowest level since July 2020.

Today, according to the weekly data released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), India's foreign exchange reserves decreased for the ninth consecutive week. India's foreign exchange reserves stood at $537.52 billion at the end of the week ending September 23.

On the other hand, the value of the Indian rupee continues to decline and on Friday, the Indian rupee fell below 82 per dollar against the dollar.

Traders say the central bank also intervened during the period to stem the currency's downward spiral.
