One lakh 13 thousand people benefited from Saudi Red Crescent training courses

 The Saudi Red Crescent Authority has successfully conducted 918 training courses and awareness lectures in the Kingdom, benefiting more than 113,000 people this year.

According to the Saudi news agency SPA, the spokesman of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Abdulaziz Al-Suwayan, said that "the authority is keen to promote the culture of first aid in educational institutions and to introduce people to ways of dealing with cases of illness." .

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority aims to save more lives and reduce suffering by strengthening healthcare resources in communities and educational facilities. Therefore, the Authority conducted several awareness training courses and lectures in these institutions.

Out of 214 training courses organized in educational institutions, Qasim region contributed the most with 52 courses.

Saudi Red Crescent Authority spokesperson Abdul Aziz al-Suwayan said that the authority has already started several awareness raising initiatives. Prominent among these initiatives was 'A Safe School', which aims to train all those working in the education system, be they teachers, administrative staff or students, to introduce them to the basics of first aid. . This initiative involves providing a set of training courses and lectures suitable for different age groups.
