A military plane has crashed in Russia, killing at least 13 people, including three children.
According to the news agency AFP, on Tuesday, the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia said that the accident happened in the southwestern region of Yask.
The ministry said that the rescue workers have completed the search operation in the debris at the accident site. A total of 13 people were killed, including three children, while 19 people were injured.

The fire caused by the accident, which engulfed the nine-story residential building, has been brought under control, Regional Governor Veniman Kondratiev said on Telegram.
A resident of the area, Oksana, who declined to give her last name, told AFP that the area was cordoned off after the accident. There was an explosion in the building. Everything inside is burning. There is smoke.
She said that when she heard this news, she got stuck in the traffic.
