Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed's telephone contact with the Turkish President

 The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, has contacted Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the phone on Sunday.

 According to the official news agency of the Emirates, WAM, the Emirati president has expressed his deep sorrow and grief to the Turkish president and the people who are friends of Turkey after the explosion in the mine in northern Turkey.

The President of the Emirates also expressed full solidarity with Turkey on this tragic accident.

The Turkish President thanked the Emirati President for the telephonic contact and the expression of fraternal feelings towards Turkey.

The news agency Reuters quoted Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as saying that the death toll in an explosion in a coal mine in the northern Turkish province of Baratin on Friday has reached 41.

Earlier, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said that "out of 110 people working in the mine, 58 were rescued by rescue teams or managed to get out of the mine themselves".
