Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will address the 6th SICA Summit in Astana, Kazakhstan today.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is in Kazakhstan on a two-day visit to attend the Summit on Confidence Building Measures in Asia, where he will address the Sixth Summit of SICA in Astana today.
The Prime Minister will highlight Pakistan's perspective on regional and global issues at the SICA summit and will also hold meetings with the leaders of SICA member countries.It should be noted that in this regard, in the statement issued by the Prime Minister, it was said that the damage caused by climate change has increased the importance of coordinated efforts.
The statement said that the world is facing a recession due to rising energy and food prices.
It should be noted that SICA is an intergovernmental organization established in 1992 which includes 27 countries in Asia, SICA focuses on promoting peace, security and socio-economic development in Asia and Pakistan is one of the founding members of SICA.
