US President did not talk new about Pakistan: White House

The spokesperson of the White House has said on the statement of the American President that he did not say anything new about Pakistan.

During a press briefing on Friday, White House Spokesperson Karen Jean-Pierre said that the US President wants a safe and prosperous Pakistan.

He said that President Joe Biden has made such comments before. So there is no point in it.

"They believe that a safe and prosperous Pakistan is important to American interests."

US President Joe Biden said in a speech at a fundraising event of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee on Friday that "Pakistan is one of the most dangerous countries in the world with an irregular nuclear program."

The government of Pakistan strongly protested on his statement and sent a letter of protest to the US Ambassador Donald Bloom by summoning the Foreign Office.

Pakistan's Foreign Office had said that the American Ambassador was informed of Pakistan's disappointment and concern over the unnecessary remarks (of the US President). This statement was not based on ground facts.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif rejected the US President's statement as false and misleading and said that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state.
