Vocational training course for filmmaking launched in Saudi Arabia

 The first professional filmmaking training program in Saudi Arabia is starting from November 2022.

According to Al Arabiya Net, 15 young Saudi boys and girls will be given several training courses regarding filmmaking. Workshops will also be prioritized to teach them the skills of set designing.

This filmmaking training program will be organized in collaboration with Netflix and SPT Saudi Company.

This work will be taken from a special studio that conducts training courses in the field of film and TV production. Its headquarters will be in Saudi Arabia.

Working teams will be prepared under this. Thanks to this program, Saudi filmmakers will learn to work according to international standards. Will work professionally in the film and TV industry and develop a good network of Saudi filmmakers.

The filmmaking training program will be in two phases. The first phase will start in November 2022 and it will consist of 10 days. Under this, training will be given regarding set designing. The courses will focus more on the areas of technical direction, set designing and technical equipment.

The second phase will be held in January 2023. It will also consist of 10 days. It will involve production directors and assistant directors.

Each participant in the program will be offered the opportunity to work as an assistant director and assistant production director or as a technical director or set designer at Netflix.

Regarding the program, the executive chairperson of the Saudi company SPT, Hajar Al-Naeem, said, "I am an eyewitness of the initial stage of film-making." I have participated in the mentorship of world-class working youth. I realize that preparing filmmakers is a big challenge. The new program will be an important milestone in this regard.
