Kabul: The Afghan government has instructed Afghan refugees in Pakistan and Iran not to participate in protests.
According to the Afghan media, the statement issued by the Afghan Ministry of Refugees has said that the protests are an internal matter of Pakistan and Iran.The statement further said that Afghan refugees living in Pakistan and Iran should not participate in the protests. Afghan refugees should not support protesters. Afghan refugees should not create difficulties for themselves by participating in local people's protests.

Anti-government protests have been going on in Iran for the past three months. The protests began after the death of Mehsa Amini in police custody.
