Islamabad: Pakistan has decided to allow Afghan transit trade through all the international airports of the country after ports.
From the airports, there will be dispatch to Chaman, Torkham and Ghulam Khan customs stations to send them to Afghanistan by land. Important amendments are being made in the Customs Rules, 2001 forAccording to a document available to Express, the Federal Board of Revenue has prepared the draft amendments to the Customs Rules and released them for feedback to the relevant stakeholders and asked them to send their feedback and suggestions within 15 days.
In the proposed amended Customs Rules, it is stated that the airlines carrying goods of Afghan transit trade will have to give air bill, only the goods can be cargo for dispatch to Chaman, Torkham and Ghulam Khan Customs Stations.
