Pakistan needs to speed up reforms for economic stability: IMF

 The International Monetary Fund (IMF) says that Pakistan needs to accelerate the process of reforms for economic stability.

In a statement, the representative of the IMF in Pakistan, Esther Preez, has said that the IMF wants to provide aid to the beneficiaries in Pakistan in a more effective manner, therefore, the aid should be targeted to the needs of the victims.

He said that policy priorities are being discussed with the Pakistani authorities and timely preparation of the recovery plan is also necessary.
