Turkish authorities have arrested a large group of Jordanian and Palestinian human traffickers in Istanbul.
According to Arab News, four members of the group and six others were arrested for selling or transplanting their organs. All four members of the group were immediately jailed.
The network was running its business through forged documents at a hospital in the eastern part of Istanbul and was receiving US 50 50,000 per case.The case came to light when Turkish doctors informed the police that there was no relationship between the patient and the organ donor and that they rarely talked to each other.
When police contacted the Palestinian embassy, it denied that the embassy had provided relationship documents to any of the detainees.
Police tracked down the group after inspecting hospital records and a nearby hotel. In this operation, two raids were carried out on the hotel.
Hassan B, the ringleader of the group, used to track down organ donors and donors through social media. Other members included Hassan Abdul, Ali and Ahmed, who were arrested.
The group used to make documents that looked like they had been made by a foreign embassy.

The group used Facebook and other social media platforms to search for forced refugee donors who donated their livers or kidneys, but were not paid in full and were not cared for later. ۔
