The statement praised the successful efforts of OPEC Plus in stabilizing the global oil market and indicated the continuation of close bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
It also expressed the belief that adherence to the OPEC Plus Agreement is important for all member states.
The two sides also hinted at enhancing cooperation in the implementation of the Green Middle East Initiative and in cooperation on international environmental policies.
Saudi Arabia and Kuwait also agreed to promote economic, trade and investment cooperation in the private and public sectors. Establish joint economic plans, increase trade.
Commitment has been made to promote cooperation in other areas including health, tourism, food self-sufficiency.
The two sides reiterated their full support for the Palestinian cause in establishing an independent Palestinian state and making East Jerusalem its capital. He reiterated his position on continuing the struggle for a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis.
With regard to Lebanon, it was stressed that comprehensive reforms are needed to save the country from crisis. Weapons in Lebanon must be limited to state institutions. It is also important that Lebanon does not become a hotbed of terrorist activities and organizations that undermine peace and stability in the region.
An emergency conference of OIC foreign ministers on Afghanistan was welcomed in Pakistan.
The two sides stressed support for peace and stability in Afghanistan and said that terrorists should not be allowed to set up sanctuaries there. Both countries stressed the importance of supporting humanitarian services and humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan.
The two sides welcomed the efforts of the United Nations and national parties for unity, peace and stability and development and prosperity in Libya.
