Washington: The United States has announced that it will not punish the soldiers responsible for killing civilians in a drone strike in Afghanistan.
According to documents released by the Pentagon, the department's internal investigation states that the drone strike in Afghanistan was not against the law, nor was it a violation of the principle, so no US military or official deserves punishment.
A US drone strike in Afghanistan in August killed 10 people, including children. Gen. Kenneth McKenzie of the US Central Command called the attack a "tragic mistake" after the drone strike killed civilians.
