The South African Cricket Board has nominated Council Advocate Terry Motao for disciplinary action and will hear the case.Mark Boucher will remain in his post during the operation and will be with the team in the second ODI against India on Friday.
The South African Cricket Board said in a statement on Thursday that it would meet Mark Boucher on January 26 to decide on the next course of action.
The move follows a Social Justice and National Building report alleging racial discrimination and prejudice against several people. The allegations were made against Mark Boucher by former player Paul Adam.
"Mark Boucher faces serious misconduct charges and may not remain in office, so an independent panel inquiry is needed," the statement said.
