The first fast in the UAE is likely to be on April 2 and Eid-ul-Fitr on May 2

 Ibrahim al-Jarwan, chairman of the American Astronomical Association in the United Arab Emirates, said: "According to astronomy, the first day of Ramadan is likely to be on April 2 and Eid al-Fitr on May 2, 2022. This time there will be 30 days of Ramadan.


According to the Emirati news agency WAM, Ibrahim Al-Jarwan said that the Iftar time in the city of Khorfkan in the UAE will be 8 minutes before Abu Dhabi, while in Al-Ghawifat, which is located in the far west of the country, the Iftar time will be 12 minutes after Abu Dhabi.

The chairman of the Astronomical Affairs Association said, “The fast will start at 4:48 in Khorfkan. It will be 4:46 in Abu Dhabi and 5:08 in Al-Sala and Al-Awifat.
