In the 26th match of ICC Women's World Cup, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 71 runs.
Chasing 266 runs in the match played in Christchurch, New Zealand on Saturday, Pakistan women's cricket team scored only 194 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs.
In pursuit of 266 runs, Muneeb Ali and Sedrah Amin started the innings for Pakistan but Sedrah scored only 14 runs and was caught by Frances McKay.
After him, Muneeb Ali could not stay on the wicket for long and made 29 runs and caught the ball of Rosemary Meyer.
The third out was Amima Sohail who was the only victim of Mackay by scoring only 14 runs.
After that, captain Bismillah Maroof and Nada Dar gave some support to the innings. The two formed a partnership of 82 runs after which Bismillah was stumped for 38 runs.
After Bismillah Maroof, no other batsman could stay on the wicket for long. With just 19 runs added, Pakistan lost five wickets. Nada Dar bowled 50 runs.
New Zealand's Hannah Rowe took five wickets.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first which proved to be incorrect and New Zealand scored 265 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs thanks to the brilliant 126 runs of opener Susie Bates.
Nada Dar's excellent bowling from Pakistan continued. He dismissed three players.
It may be recalled that a few days ago, the Pakistani team, which had lost 18 matches in a row in the Women's Cricket World Cup, had won its first match against the West Indies.
