BAKU: A powerful blast at a nightclub in Azerbaijan has killed at least one person and injured 31 others, with the death toll expected to rise.

According to the International News Agency, a fire broke out in a nightclub in Azerbaijan after more than 50 people were present.
One person was killed on the spot while 31 others were injured in the blast. Most of the injured have been badly burnt in the fire. The death toll is expected to rise as eight of the injured are in critical condition.
Police said that the cause of the blast was a gas leak, but a final decision could be made only after the investigation is completed.
