Antigua: West Indies cricket captain Caron Pollard has announced his retirement from international cricket in limited overs.
In a video message on social media, Caron Pollard announced his retirement from international cricket, saying "I am proud to have represented the West Indies."
"I still remember the day I made my international debut in 2007 under my childhood hero, Brian Lara. It has been an honor to wear maroon and to play with such great players," Pollard wrote.
All-rounder Caron Pollard has represented his team in 123 ODIs and 101 T20 Internationals. He made his debut against South Africa in 2007 and did not play a Test match for the West Indies.
Representing the West Indies cricket team in limited overs, Pollard led the West Indies to 61 matches in which they won 25 and lost 31.
It should be noted that Caron Pollard is the third batsman in the world to hit 6 sixes in an over.
