Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's mother Sunanda Shetty got a big relief in the case of fraud and deception.
According to Indian media, the Mumbai Metropolitan Magistrate's Court recently granted bail to actress Shilpa Shetty's mother Sunanda Shetty after revoking a bailable arrest warrant issued against her in a fraud case.
According to reports, Sunanda Shetty appeared in court and filed a petition seeking revocation of her arrest warrant issued by Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate RR Khan for not appearing in court during the hearing of her case last month.

Although Sunanda's lawyer had sought exemption from the hearing, the court rejected the application and issued a warrant of Rs.1000. Now the court has allowed him to be released on bail.
According to media reports, the court granted bail to Sunanda Shetty in lieu of personal bail of Rs 15,000 and interim bail of Rs 25,000.
It is to be noted that the complainant businessman Prahad Amra has alleged that Shilpa Shetty Kandra's late father Surinder Shetty had taken a loan of Rs 21 lakh from her in 2015 which he was to repay in January 2017. But he did not pay the money and now his wife and daughters are also refusing to return the money.
On the other hand, actress Shilpa Shetty has accused Prahad Amira of allegedly damaging her and her sister Shamita Shetty's public reputation. The actress further said that the complaint of Prahad Amira is a "method of extortion" and her "reputation and public status" is in danger.
