Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman met with US National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan in Washington on Tuesday.
According to Arab News, the meeting between Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman and US National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan reviewed bilateral relations.
Prince Khalid wrote in a tweet that the meeting took place at the behest of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
"I met with US National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan to review the enduring and historic Saudi-US partnership and to discuss strengthening US-Saudi cooperation," he said.
The Deputy Secretary of Defense and his delegation arrived in the US capital, Washington, on Tuesday morning on an official visit.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, Prince Khalid bin Salman will meet with a number of officials and discuss bilateral relations and issues of common interest at the regional and international levels.
During his visit to Washington, Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman will hold talks with White House National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan on the ceasefire in Yemen and the crisis in Ukraine.
