The Minister of Energy of Oman has announced the discovery of new oil reserves on Saturday.
The new reserves will increase the daily production of oil in Oman from 50,000 to one million barrels in the next two to three years.
According to Reuters, Oman's Minister of Energy and Energy, Muhammad bin Hamd al -Romhi, announced the discovery of new oil reserves, saying that "crude oil reserves in Oman are 5.2 barrels and gas reserves are 240 trillion cubic feet at this time."
The data released by the Ministry of Energy in Oman said that the average oil production last year had reached 971 thousand barrels'.
"Average oil production is expected to reach 1.1 million barrels this year."
