On the first day of the business week, the country recorded an increase in the price of gold per tola along with the dollar.
According to Sindh Sarafa Bazar Jewelers Association, the price of gold per towel has increased by Rs. 1450 to Rs. 147,250.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 1243 to Rs. 126,243.
On the other hand, the price of gold per ounce in the world market remains at 18 1840.
The soaring dollar
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the dollar rose by 21 paise to Rs 219 in the interbank market and closed at a high of Rs 209.96.
It should be noted that the dollar had closed at Rs 208.75 on the interbank market on Friday.
In the open market also, the value of dollar has increased by one rupee 50 paise and in the open market the dollar has become 213 rupees 50 paise.
