According to Indian media, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi marched in the capital New Delhi with his party's assembly members against inflation and targeting opposition parties on political grounds.
Rahul Gandhi also staged sit-ins near the Indian Parliament and government offices. The police arrested Congress MLAs including Rahul Gandhi and shifted them to a nearby police station.
While talking to the media at the time of his arrest, Rahul Gandhi said that India is a police state and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the king. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi's mother and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi will appear in the Enforcement Directorate for the second consecutive day today. The Enforcement Directorate had interrogated him for several hours yesterday. Sonia Gandhi is being investigated in various financial matters including money laundering.
