Top company officials fired for providing poor service to Hajj pilgrims

 The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the dismissal of the chief executive and top official of a company providing services to pilgrims.

The Saudi Press Agency quoted the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on Thursday as saying that company officials had been fired for failing to provide proper service to the pilgrims.


The ministry said the decision was made in consultation with the company's board of directors.

Teams at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah pointed out that the company was providing poor service.

A statement issued by the ministry said the sacked officials would be investigated.

The ministry says the services provided by various companies are closely monitored during the Hajj to ensure standard measures.

All violations are identified by the Ministry and dealt with promptly.

The ministry said that no negligence would be tolerated in the service provided to the pilgrims.
