Aramco profits up 90% during second quarter

Saudi Arabian oil giant Aramco's profit rose 90 percent during the second quarter of this year, beating analysts' forecasts and marking the highest quarterly profit since 2019.

According to Arab News, according to analysts' forecasts, the net income of the company was expected to reach 46 billion 20 million dollars.

The profit of the 'most profitable oil company in the world' reached 182 billion Saudi riyals ($48.40 billion) and revenue reached 562 billion Saudi riyals after an 80% increase.

This income is 148 billion rials more than the first quarter of 2021, while it is 95 billion five crore rials more than the second quarter.

The crude oil producer said the results were due to higher oil prices, which were at record levels at the start of the year.

Similarly, Aramco kept the quarterly profit stable at 70 billion 30 crore riyals.

Aramco has announced the joint launch of the CNTXT program with Cognite (a leading industrial software maker), which will be headquartered in Riyadh.

CNTXT will provide support for industrial digitalization in Saudi Arabia while also working in the Middle East and North Africa region.
