By limiting the supply to Europe, Russia started wasting billions of rupees worth of gas every day

Russia continues to burn large amounts of natural gas daily after restricting exports to various European countries.

According to a report, gas worth 8.4 million British pounds is being burned every day in a Russian plant near the Finnish border.

Before this, Russia was exporting this amount of gas to Germany.

Scientists are concerned that this could cause huge amounts of carbon dioxide to be released into the atmosphere.

Finnish citizens saw a large flame on Russian soil during the summer, while according to researchers, the heat output from the plant has increased significantly.

By the way, it is not unusual to burn gas in a plant in this way, but there is no example of the large scale of gas being wasted in the Russian plant.

Dr. Jessica McCarthy, an expert at the University of Miami, said: "We've never seen fires like this at an LNG plant. The series started in June and then peaked, still producing huge amounts of gas every day. This is how it is being wasted.
