The Saudi Ministry of Industry and Minerals has released statistics for June 2022.
A total investment of 1.361 trillion riyals has been made in the industry sector by the end of June. The total number of factories in the kingdom reached 1067 thousand.
According to Al-Ektisadiya, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals said that "2100 licenses have been issued for mining in the industry sector".
"From January 2022 to the end of June 2022, 501 new licenses for new factories have been issued," the ministry said. Their total investment is 13.7 billion Rials. 721 factories have started production from January to the end of June.
