Sania Mirza out of US Open, 'I didn't think it would be so bad'

 Indian tennis star and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik's wife Sania Mirza has pulled out of the US Open Tennis Championship due to an arm injury.

Sania Mizra announced her withdrawal from the US Open 2022 on Tuesday through microblogging website Instagram Story.

Expressing regret, she added that she will not be able to play tennis for a few weeks and has been pulled out of the US Open.


Regarding retirement, Sania Mirza said, "It's not good, it's the worst time that will change some of my retirement decisions, but I will be in touch with you all through social media."

Earlier, the Indian tennis star has announced her retirement once. However, later he said that he had made this announcement too soon, which he was 'regretting'.

According to the Press Trust of India, Sania Mirza was asked on Sony Sports Network if her approach to tennis and competitions has changed since this is her last season.

"I don't think much about it (retirement), I think I made the announcement too soon, I regret it because I am being asked questions about it at the moment," she said. .'
