Solar powered liquid nitrogen air conditioner without electricity

Tel Aviv: The Israeli company has created the world's first air conditioner that can produce great cooling even in the sun outside the four walls and that too without any electricity.

It is called the Kensho system which can instantly cool the surroundings down to minus 10 degrees centigrade by ejecting liquid nitrogen. Israeli company Kenco has tested it for the first time outside the home, acting as the reverse of a cafe heater.

If placed in an outdoor restaurant, one system can cool several tables. Its main secret is liquid nitrogen, which is kept inside a standard tank. In it, nitrogen is kept cold at minus 196 degree centigrade. As soon as the switch of the air conditioner is switched on, the nitrogen comes out and spreads rapidly and the outside environment also gets cold.

The liquid nitrogen turns into a gas and expands to 700 times its original size due to the mechanical engine. Air conditioners are specially designed to release gases. It requires no electricity to operate and does not emit any hot air.

According to the company, there is no harm in breathing nitrogen and it is completely safe. This is because liquid nitrogen is released slowly.

Thus, the outdoor liquid nitrogen air conditioner is stylish, mobile, efficient and silent. A tank of one unit will be enough for 7 to 10 days. Soon they will be tested in restaurants in Tel Aviv. Interestingly, a tank of nitrogen costs around 50 to 60 dollars.

This groundbreaking invention is expected to be introduced to the market by mid-2023.
