 Abu Dhabi: United Arab Emirates has announced to send back its ambassador to Iran after 6 years.

According to Arab media, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has decided to restore diplomatic relations with Iran. The UAE will soon send its ambassador back to Iran.

Emirati officials say the purpose of sending back the ambassador is to promote bilateral relations with Iran and protect mutual interests. The UAE severed diplomatic ties with Iran in 2016 and recalled the ambassador.
